Description

Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 30ml is an evening serum-cream with 0.03% retinaldehyde, a form of vitamin A. It helps improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and dullness.

Is Crystal Retinal 3 the right strength?

Medik8 recommends strength 3 for new vitamin A users. For sensitive skin, compare Crystal Retinal 1, with 0.01% retinal. Choose according to your experience and skin tolerance.

How to introduce Crystal Retinal 3

Patch test at least 24 hours before first use. After evening cleansing, apply two pumps to the face and neck, let it absorb, then moisturise. Start twice weekly for two weeks, then alternate nights for two weeks, building to nightly use as tolerated. Apply sunscreen each morning.

How to use

After cleansing in the evening, massage a small amount of Crystal Retinal across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb before applying your moisturiser. Crystal Retinal application should be phased in gradually, and only use in the evening. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. Always wear sunscreen the following morning while using this product, and for 1 week after. Consult a doctor if breastfeeding or pregnant.
